Babel Tower is a relaxing clicker where you mine stone, make bricks and build a tower toward the sky. Play it free in your browser.
Babel Tower is not a jumper, despite the shelf it sits on. It is an idle-style clicker about running a huge construction project: you dig stone out of a quarry, turn it into bricks, haul the bricks to the site and stack them higher and higher. Sessions are relaxed. You click, spend what you earn, and watch the tower grow.
If you came to Doodle Jump for the "just one more go" climb, the appeal carries over in a different shape. Height is still the score, and every upgrade makes the next stretch go faster, but nothing here punishes a missed landing. It suits a tab you keep open while doing something else, or a few quiet minutes at a time.
The game was made by Airapport and is hosted on Poki. It runs in the browser with nothing to install.
The whole game is played with the mouse: left-click to collect resources and to press the buttons that upgrade your operation. There is no keyboard control to learn, so the arrow keys and WASD mentioned elsewhere on this site do not apply here. On a phone or tablet, tapping does the same job as clicking.
A round of play follows a simple chain. Stone comes out of the quarry, gets processed into building bricks, and is carried to the tower by your transporter. Each link in that chain can be upgraded, and you also manage your workers. Money from finished bricks goes back into faster digging, better carrying and more workers, which lets you stack more bricks and reach new heights.
For another game about getting higher, Helix Jump has you guiding a ball down a rotating tower instead of building one, and it is all about timing. Day D Tower Rush is a closer cousin in theme, built around towers, though it plays quite differently from this one. For a hands-on challenge, Doodle Jump itself is the quick-reflex option, where one wrong step ends the run.
Babel Tower suits anyone who likes watching numbers climb at their own pace, with short or long sessions and only a mouse or finger needed.
Use the mouse: left-click to collect resources and to buy upgrades. On a phone or tablet, tap instead.
You manage a quarry, brick processing and a transporter, upgrading each so you can stack bricks and build your tower as high as possible.
