Toxic is a platform-action puzzler where you blast through stone with bombs to reach the exit. Play it free in your browser.
Toxic is a platform-action game built around one idea: the floor, walls and ceilings of each level are made of stone you can blow apart. You guide a small character in a yellow protective suit through hazard-filled chambers, and the way forward is rarely the obvious one. Instead of jumping over every obstacle, you decide where to place a bomb, step back, and open a new route.
Each level ends at a teleporter. Getting there means weighing a few things at once: which wall to demolish, what lurks on the other side, and whether the blast will also remove the ledge you were standing on. That mix of platforming and small puzzles makes a session feel more deliberate than the endless climbing of Doodle Jump, even though both are about moving carefully upward and onward without falling into trouble.
It runs straight in the browser with nothing to install, and it is best on a desktop with a keyboard.
Move with the arrow keys or WASD. Press the spacebar to lay a bomb where you stand. Bombs destroy the stone terrain around them, so a typical move is to drop one, walk clear, and let it open a tunnel or drop a block out of your way. The goal of every level is to reach the teleporter.
The page's own control text mentions mouse aiming and touch, but the game is mainly played from the keyboard, so expect a phone to be awkward.
If you like the controlled risk in Toxic, Ovo 2 and OvO game are precision platformers where timing and jumping matter more than demolition. Hoppenhelm is another platformer with more of an adventure feel. Fireboy and Watergirl swaps bombs for two-character puzzle solving, which works well with a friend. Doodle Jump itself stays the simplest of the lot: one tilt of direction, constant bouncing.
Toxic suits short sessions of a few levels at a time, and it rewards players who like to stop and think before they act.

Yes. It plays free in your browser on doodlejump.io, with no download or account.
It is built for desktop and a keyboard, so a phone is not a good fit for it.
