Stick Merge is a stickman shooter built around one idea: the guns you start with are not the guns you keep. You combine weapons, such as two pistols, into a stronger firearm, and you use that firepower to take out enemies for cash, XP and other rewards. It is a short-session action game that runs in the browser with nothing to install.

The rhythm is a loop of fighting and upgrading. You earn something in a fight, spend a moment on the merge side of the game, and head back out with better gear. That makes it a different kind of action game from the reflex-and-timing pickers around it, since much of the satisfaction comes from watching your arsenal climb from sidearms toward machine guns and shotguns.

How to play

1. Merge as soon as you are able to. A single upgraded weapon usually helps more than holding two weak ones.
2. Keep moving while you aim. Standing still to line up a shot is the easiest way to lose health early on.
3. Treat the first few fights as practice for the controls, so aiming with the mouse feels natural before enemies get tougher.
4. If you play on a touch screen, use fullscreen for more room to swipe and tap.
