Dadish 3D — Play Free Online

Action & Shooting

Dadish 3D is a free 3D platformer in your browser: guide the radish dad through obstacle levels to find his kids. No download.

Dadish 3D takes the radish dad from the Dadish platformers and drops him into a three-dimensional world. The goal is the same as ever: Dadish has lost his kids, and each level is a small obstacle course between him and the next little radish. Instead of running left and right along a flat screen, you now move through the space, judge depth, and line up jumps from behind the character.

A session is made of short levels, so it fits a five-minute break as easily as a long sitting. The tone is light and a little silly, with junk-food enemies standing in the way. If you come to Doodle Jump for quick, one-more-try jumping, the same itch gets scratched here, only with more room to explore and more ways to miss a ledge.

How to play

On a keyboard, use the arrow keys or WASD to move, and use the mouse to aim and to select things in the menus. On a phone or tablet, tap and swipe on the screen instead. The game runs in the browser with nothing to install.

Each level asks you to cross platforms and hazards, deal with or avoid the enemies in your path, and reach the end. Because the view is 3D, the main skill is judging distance: a platform can look close and still be a jump away, so how you set up your run-up matters more than reflexes alone.

Tips

  1. Spend the first level getting a feel for how far a jump carries, and do it before you start taking risks.
  2. Move the camera or your aim so the landing spot is clearly in view before you commit to a jump.
  3. Take hazards one at a time. Stopping on a safe platform costs you nothing, while a rushed leap costs a whole section.
  4. If you play with a mouse, keep one hand on WASD and the other steady on the mouse, because jerky aiming is the usual cause of falls.

Dadish 3D suits players who want a relaxed but still demanding platformer, on either a keyboard or a touchscreen.
