Defend your base from waves of enemies in Base Defense: deploy units, repair defenses and upgrade weapons. Play free in your browser.
Base Defense is a wave-survival game with a cartoon look. Enemies keep coming at your position, and your job is to hold it: deploy units, repair what gets damaged and spend what you earn on stronger weapons. It is a different kind of session from the bouncing and climbing that Doodle Jump is known for, but it shares the same "one more try" pull.
A round is about managing pressure rather than reflexes alone. You are never only shooting. You are deciding whether the next bit of money goes into a new unit, a repair or a weapon upgrade, and that choice is what separates a base that survives a few waves from one that keeps going.
It runs in the browser with nothing to install, so it suits a quick break as well as a longer attempt to beat your furthest wave.
Move with the arrow keys or WASD, and use the mouse to aim and to pick options from the menus. On a phone or tablet, tap and swipe instead. Keyboard and mouse give you the finest aim, so use them if you have the choice.
Each wave, keep the enemies off your defenses, then use the gap before the next push to rebuild and improve. The upgrade and repair options are part of the core loop, not an extra, so look at them between waves.
If you like the defend-and-upgrade loop, Bloons Tower Defense 2 is the closest relative on this site, with a more strategic, placement-first approach. Day D Tower Rush also leans on holding a position against incoming enemies. For something with no combat at all, Fireboy and Watergirl swaps defense for co-operative puzzle solving, and Helix Jump is the quick-reflex alternative.
Base Defense is a good fit if you want something with a bit more planning than an endless jumper, and it works with either a keyboard or touch.
Use the arrow keys or WASD to move and the mouse to aim and select. On a phone or tablet, tap and swipe.
