Guide Big Tower Tiny Square 2's tiny square up a huge tower of spikes and tricky jumps. A precision platformer that plays free in your browser.
Big Tower Tiny Square 2 is a precision platformer about a very small square trying to get up a very large tower. Every screen is a compact obstacle course of spikes and gaps, and you will fail most of them several times before you clear them. Deaths are instant and restarts are immediate, so the game is built around quick, repeated attempts rather than long careful runs.
If you came to Doodle Jump for the feel of a character that is always one bad jump from falling, this is the same tension in a different shape. Doodle Jump asks you to bounce upward forever; here the climb has an end, and each section is a small puzzle in timing that you solve by dying a few times first.
Move with the arrow keys or WASD, and jump with the up arrow or W. The game also lists the mouse for aiming and selecting, which is mostly for menus. On a phone you tap and swipe instead. The browser build loads in the frame with nothing to install.
A typical screen works like this: look at the hazards first, work out where you need to land, then commit to a jump. Because the square is small and the controls are tight, most failures come from jumping a fraction too early or too late, not from the controls fighting you.
Ovo 2 and OvO game are the closest relatives here, with fast-moving platforming and tricky jumps. Fireboy and Watergirl swaps precision for puzzle solving and works well with two players. Hoppenhelm is another platformer to try if you like levels that test patience.
It suits short sessions well, since a single screen takes a minute or two, and it works on both keyboard and touch screens, though a keyboard gives finer control.

It runs in any modern browser and has touch controls, though a keyboard gives more precise control.
