Play Subway Surfers Newyork free in your browser: dodge trains, swap lanes, jump and roll through an endless run. Nothing to install.
Subway Surfers Newyork is a New York-themed take on the endless runner from SYBO Games. You play a graffiti kid sprinting down a set of rail tracks, with a guard and his dog chasing close behind. The run never ends on its own. It lasts until you clip a train, a barrier or a signal.
The pace starts gentle and keeps climbing. The whole game is three lanes, and each split second you decide which lane is clear, whether to hop over something or roll under it, and which coins are worth the risk. A round can be thirty seconds or ten minutes, so it fits a short break as easily as a long sitting.
Visitors to Doodle Jump come for one-more-try vertical climbing. This game gives you the same loop of a score that keeps ticking up, a run that ends on one mistake, and an instant restart, but you move sideways through traffic instead of bouncing upward.
Use the arrow keys or WASD to steer. Left and right change lanes, up jumps, and down rolls or drops you back to the ground fast. The mouse is used to select things in menus. On a phone or tablet, swipe in the same four directions.
Trains come in several forms. Some you can leap onto and run along the roof, while others block the lane head-on and force you to switch. Low barriers need a jump, and overhead bars need a roll. Collect coins as you go and grab any power-ups that appear on the track. A single crash can be survived once in some versions of the game, but a second hit right after it ends the run.
Helix Jump is also a one-button style score chase, but you steer a ball down a tower instead of running forward. Bird Jumper and Hoppenhelm keep the vertical hopping flavour of the headline game, while OvO is a precision platformer that rewards memorising a route rather than reacting to a stream of hazards.
Subway Surfers Newyork suits quick sessions and anyone who likes reflex games. It runs in the browser with nothing to install, and a keyboard gives you cleaner lane changes than a trackpad.

No. It is an endless runner, so a run lasts until you crash into an obstacle and the aim is to beat your previous score.
