Play Highway Rider Extreme free in your browser: an endless runner where you steer through highway hazards and try to beat your best distance.
Highway Rider Extreme is an endless runner on the road. You are not chasing a finish line or a set number of laps. You keep going for as long as you can without crashing, and your score is how far that gets you. The game loads straight in the browser, so there is nothing to install and a run can be over in a minute or two.
It sits a little apart from the platform jumpers that Doodle Jump fans usually come for. Instead of hopping upward from ledge to ledge, you are steering through a stream of hazards. What carries over is the same hook: one more attempt, one more try at beating your last distance.
On a keyboard, use the arrow keys or WASD to move. The mouse is used to aim and to pick options in menus. On a phone or tablet, tap and swipe instead. The game's own listing gives only that control summary, so check the on-screen prompts in the first few seconds if a key seems to do nothing.
A run follows the usual endless-runner pattern. Traffic and obstacles keep arriving, you steer around them, and a collision ends the attempt. Because the genre is built on escalating pace, the first stretch is the forgiving part and the later stretch is where mistakes come quickly.
If you like the quick-restart feel, Bird Jumper and Hoppenhelm are other jump-focused picks on this site, with timing built around hops rather than steering. Helix Jump is also a good one-more-go game, but you guide a bouncing ball down a tower instead of dodging traffic. For something slower and more cooperative, Fireboy and Watergirl is a puzzle game for two players.
Highway Rider Extreme suits short breaks, a few quick attempts at a time, on either a keyboard or a touch screen.

Yes. It runs in your browser on doodlejump.io with no download or account.
It is an HTML5 build, so it runs in a modern browser. Touch uses tap and swipe, and a keyboard works on a Chromebook.
