Drunken Duel is a free two-player physics brawler: steer a wobbly blue or orange fighter and win the duel. Plays in your browser.
Drunken Duel is a small head-to-head game where two wobbly fighters, one blue and one orange, try to knock each other out. The physics are loose on purpose: you are steering a character who barely has control of their own limbs, and most of the fun comes from the clumsy, chaotic moments when a plan half works.
The game has a one-player page and a two-player page, picked from the main menu. Each side has its own score, and the match ends with a win screen for blue or orange. Rounds are short, so it suits a few minutes between longer games. It is also a different pace from the climbing and jumping games that make up most of this site.
Use the arrow keys or WASD to move, and the mouse to aim and to pick items in the menus. On a phone or tablet you tap and swipe instead. Choose one player or two players, then work to land the winning hit before your opponent does. Each win adds to your side's score.
The game runs in the browser with nothing to install. Its menus are large and simple, so you can start a match in a couple of clicks.
Drunken Duel is a head-to-head game, while most of the catalogue is built around solo runs. Fireboy and Watergirl is the closest cooperative pick, since it is also built around two players, though they work together rather than against each other. Ovo 2 and Bouncy Basketball are quicker, skill-driven games that you can play alone. Bouncy Basketball also has a versus feel.
If you came for Doodle Jump and want a break from climbing, this is a good one to share with a friend at the same screen. Matches are quick enough that a rematch is always easy to start.
