Play Subway Surfers Monaco free in your browser: dodge trains, switch lanes, grab coins and run as far as you can in this endless runner.
Subway Surfers Monaco is the Monaco-themed edition of SYBO's endless runner. You play a graffiti kid sprinting down a set of train tracks with an inspector and his dog on your heels, and the only way to stay ahead is to keep changing lanes, hopping barriers and ducking under obstacles. There is no finish line. Each run ends when you finally clip something, and the point is to beat your previous distance and coin count.
The track is three lanes wide, and almost every decision is a lane decision. Trains parked across a lane can be too tall to jump, so you slide sideways to a clear lane or hop onto a lower carriage and ride along the roof. Low barriers get jumped, overhead bars get rolled under, and coins line up along the safest route to pull your eye toward it. Speed climbs the longer you survive, so the opening seconds feel relaxed and the later ones feel frantic.
If you came to Doodle Jump for quick, one-more-try arcade sessions, this fits the same habit. It is a different rhythm, though. Instead of steering one bouncing character left and right, you are reading obstacles a second or two ahead and committing to a lane.
On a keyboard, use the arrow keys or WASD. Left and right switch lanes, up jumps, and down rolls or drops you back to the ground quickly. The game may also respond to the mouse for menu choices. On a phone or tablet, swipe left or right to change lanes, swipe up to jump and swipe down to roll.
A run starts the moment you press play. Collect coins as you go, and watch for power-ups that appear on the track, such as a jetpack that lifts you above the obstacles for a few seconds. Treat them as a bonus rather than a plan, because they run out and you land back in traffic.
For another game about timing and survival, try Helix Jump, which has you guide a ball down a rotating tower instead of running forward. Bird Jumper keeps the simple one-button feel but is built around hopping upward. Fireboy and Watergirl is the one to pick if you want a slower, puzzle-driven session, and it works for two players on one keyboard.
Subway Surfers Monaco suits short sessions on a keyboard or touch screen. It loads in the browser with nothing to install, so you can jump in for a single run or stay for an hour chasing a better score.
Use the arrow keys or WASD: left and right change lanes, up jumps and down rolls. On a phone or tablet, swipe left, right, up or down.
Yes. It plays free in your browser on doodlejump.io with nothing to download or install.
It is an HTML5 build that runs in a modern browser. Touch swipes work on phones and tablets, and the arrow keys work on a Chromebook.
No. It is an endless runner, so a run lasts until you hit an obstacle. The goal is to beat your own best distance and coin total.
