Tri Peaks — Play Free Online
Puzzle & BrainPlay Tri Peaks, a relaxing solitaire card puzzle where you clear three card peaks by matching ranks. Free in your browser, no download needed.
Tri Peaks is a solitaire card game. Instead of stacking cards into columns, you clear three overlapping pyramids of cards that rise from the table like a mountain range. A session is a series of short deals, each one a small puzzle about which cards to take and which to leave for later.
It is a calm change of pace from the bouncing and dodging that Doodle Jump is known for. There is no timer pushing you along and no reflexes to train. You think a few moves ahead, tap a card, and watch a run of matches ripple across the board. It loads in the browser with nothing to install.
How to play
The three peaks are dealt face-down with the bottom row face-up. Below them sit a face-up waste pile and a stock of spare cards. You can move any exposed card from a peak onto the waste pile if its rank is exactly one higher or one lower than the card on top of it. The suit does not matter. Each card you remove may uncover cards beneath it, which are turned face-up and become available.
When you run out of legal moves, draw a card from the stock onto the waste pile. That gives you a new starting point, but the stock is limited, so each draw is a cost. You clear the deal by removing every card from the three peaks. If the stock runs dry and nothing fits, the deal is over.
This version is played with the mouse or by tapping on a phone, so the keyboard keys listed for many games on the site are not what you need here. Click or tap a card to send it to the waste pile.
Tips
- Before you start tapping, look at the exposed cards and the waste card. Find the longest chain you can build, since one long run often frees a lot of face-down cards at once.
- Prefer moves that uncover face-down cards in the middle of a peak. Those hidden cards are where the deal is decided.
- Hold off on drawing from the stock as long as a useful match exists, but do not burn a good chain just to avoid a draw.
- When two cards could both go next, pick the one whose neighbours you cannot reach any other way.

Tri Peaks suits short breaks, quiet sessions and any device with a mouse or a touchscreen. A deal rarely takes long, so it fits easily into a few spare minutes.
