Family Sort — Play Free Online
Puzzle & BrainFamily Sort is a relaxing color-sorting puzzle where you pour liquid between bottles to match every color. Play it free in your browser, no download.
Family Sort is a color-sorting puzzle from Unico Studio, the team behind Brain Test and Woody Sort. A row of glass bottles sits on the screen, most of them holding stacked layers of colored liquid and a couple standing empty. Your job is to pour the liquid around until every bottle holds a single color, and the empty ones stay empty.
A round plays like a small logic puzzle rather than a reflex test. There is no timer and no fail state chasing you: you tap a bottle to lift its top layer, tap another to pour, and watch the colors settle with a soft click. The difficulty comes from constraints, not speed. You can only pour onto an empty bottle or onto a matching color, and only when there is room, so one careless pour can bury a color you needed. Every move becomes a tiny piece of planning.
If you come to Doodle Jump for quick, no-fuss sessions, Family Sort scratches a different itch but fits the same habit. It loads fast, runs in the browser, and each level is a tidy problem you can finish in under a minute or leave without losing anything.
How to play
There is exactly one action to learn, and it works the same everywhere: click or tap. Tap a bottle to select it, its top layer of liquid rises slightly, then tap the bottle you want to pour into. On a phone or tablet you do the same with a finger; there are no keyboard controls to memorize.
Pouring follows two rules. You can only pour a color onto the same color or into an empty bottle, and the target bottle needs enough free space to take it. Trying to drop blue onto red simply does nothing. Levels open with a few colors in a handful of bottles, then add more bottles, more colors, and less spare room, so the puzzles grow harder rather than just longer.
Tips
- Keep an empty bottle in play as long as you can. It is your only way to move a color out of the way when its matching bottle is not ready, and filling it with a stray color too early is how most levels go wrong.
- Scan the top layer of every bottle before you move. The strongest pour is usually the one that finishes a whole color, topping off a nearly full bottle or clearing the last stray segment of a color from the board.
- If a color sits as a single segment on top of a mixed bottle, move it first. Single top segments are easy to place, and moving one frees whatever is underneath.

Family Sort is the thoughtful change of pace on a site that mostly celebrates jumping. If you want more planning, Bloons Tower Defense 2 gives you a full strategy layer of towers and upgrades, while Fireboy and Watergirl turns puzzle-solving into a two-player team effort. Helix Jump, the other pure one-tap title here, trades thinking for quick reflexes if you want a faster breather between sorting levels.
The game suits anyone who wants to think instead of react. With no timer, a relaxing pace, and touch controls that feel natural on a phone, it is a good pick for a short coffee-break session or a longer run of levels when you are in the mood to work through puzzles one clean pour at a time.
