Drive Mad is a free physics driving game: steer a car over ramps and gaps to the finish line, right in your browser with no download.
Drive Mad is a physics driving game where the road is the enemy. Instead of racing opponents around a circuit, you steer a small car along a short, hand-built course of ramps, gaps, slopes and awkward bumps, and the only goal is to reach the end of the level without wrecking. Each attempt is over in a minute or less, which makes it easy to try again the moment you fail.
It suits a visitor to Doodle Jump who likes the same loop of quick, repeatable attempts. Both games punish carelessness and reward a better second try, but here the skill is controlling momentum and balance rather than timing platform jumps.
The game runs in the browser with nothing to install, and it works on desktop and mobile.
On a keyboard, use the arrow keys or WASD to drive. Forward input accelerates and the opposite input brakes or reverses. In the air, the same keys are the way you influence how the car rotates, so they matter as much in a jump as on the ground. The mouse is used for menu choices. On a phone, tap and swipe on the on-screen controls.
A round is simple: pick a level, drive toward the finish, and restart straight away if the car crashes. Because the courses are built around obstacles, most of the challenge is working out how much speed each one needs.
If you like the stop-start, retry-until-it-clicks feel, Ovo 2 and OvO game are precision platformers where you run and jump instead of drive. Bouncy Basketball is another physics-driven game, played with a ball and a hoop. Helix Jump is closer to Doodle Jump's one-button simplicity, with a falling ball and a rotating tower.
Drive Mad is a good fit for short breaks, since a level takes only a short time. It is also a fair pick if you want something where the controls are easy but mastery takes a few tries.
Use the arrow keys or WASD to drive, and the mouse for menus. On a phone, tap and swipe.
Drive your car across each obstacle course to the finish without crashing.
Yes. It runs in the browser and supports tap and swipe controls on touch devices.
