Drift Hunters — Play Free Online
Racing & DrivingDrift Hunters is a 3D drifting game: chain slides, earn money, tune your car and unlock faster ones. Play it free in your browser.
Drift Hunters is a 3D drifting game with no opponents and no finish line. You get a car, a stretch of tarmac and a score counter that only grows if you keep the car sliding sideways through the corners. Nobody is chasing you, so the whole game is about how clean and how long a slide you can hold.
Points build up while the car is at an angle and carrying speed, and they are banked as money. The money goes into the garage: a better car, or upgrades to the one you already own. That loop of drift, earn, tune and drift again is what keeps a session going. It runs in the browser with nothing to install.
On Doodle Jump the other pages are mostly about reflexes and timing in short bursts. This one is slower and more about feel, closer to a sandbox than a challenge, which makes it a good change of pace between jumpers.
How to play
Steer with the arrow keys or WASD: up or W for throttle, down or S for brake and reverse, left and right to steer. On a phone you tap and swipe on-screen controls instead. The mouse is used for the menus, where you pick a car, a map and spend your earnings.
A round is simply a drive. Pick a map, build speed on a straight, then turn in hard and let the rear step out. Keep the throttle on and steer into the slide to hold the angle through the corner. Linking one corner into the next without straightening up is where the big scores come from.
Tips
- Start with the first car and learn to hold one long, steady slide before buying anything faster. Extra power only makes a bad slide worse.
- Do not lift off the throttle the moment the car rotates. Ease it, counter-steer and let the angle settle.
- Spend early money on upgrades that help control rather than only top speed, and tune the car after you notice what it does wrong.
- Hitting walls and spinning out ends a drift chain, so a slightly smaller angle you can keep is worth more than a huge one you lose.

If you want something with a clear goal instead of an open score chase, Helix Jump asks you to guide a ball down a tower, and Ovo 2 is a precise platformer with levels to finish. Fireboy and Watergirl is the pick for two players sharing a keyboard, which Drift Hunters is not built for.
It suits short or long sessions equally, since you can stop whenever you like and your next drive just starts from the garage. A keyboard gives much finer steering than touch.
Questions about Drift Hunters
What are the controls in Drift Hunters?
Use the arrow keys or WASD to accelerate, brake and steer. On a phone, tap and swipe on the screen. The mouse is used to pick cars and maps in the menus.
How do you earn money in Drift Hunters?
You earn money from drift points, which build while the car slides at speed. The money is spent on new cars and upgrades in the garage.
Is there a finish line or other racers?
No. It is a drifting game where the goal is a high score and a better car, not winning a race.
Can I play Drift Hunters on a phone or Chromebook?
It runs in a modern browser, so yes, but a keyboard gives much finer steering than touch controls.
