Total Party Kill — Play Free Online

Adventure & Escape

Take control of three dungeon heroes in Total Party Kill and solve clever puzzles by sacrificing party members to reach the exit free in your web browser.

Total Party Kill flips traditional dungeon-crawling teamwork completely on its head. Instead of keeping your entire party alive to defeat monsters, you must figure out which companions to eliminate so that at least one survivor can reach the dungeon stairs. Each enclosed chamber presents a lethal puzzle full of steep ledges, pressure plates, and spike pits that cannot be crossed through normal jumping alone.

You control three distinct adventurers: the Knight, the Ranger, and the Mage. Solving a level requires combining their unique talents in unconventional and humorous ways. Because only a single character needs to step through the exit door to complete a stage, sacrificing one or two teammates to create bridges or platforms is not just allowed—it is required.

How to play

Move your active hero using the arrow keys or WASD, and use the jump button to leap across platforms. Press the character swap buttons or number keys (1, 2, and 3) to switch control between the Knight, the Ranger, and the Mage at any moment. Your heroes perform specific actions with the attack key:

  • Knight: Swings a massive sword that knocks a teammate across the room. Smacking an ally sends their body flying into buttons or across dangerous spike traps.
  • Ranger: Shoots a precise arrow that pins a teammate to a stone wall. The pinned body becomes a solid wall peg you can climb on to reach higher platforms.
  • Mage: Casts an ice spell that encases an ally in a solid block of ice. Frozen blocks can be pushed across spikes, used as heavy counterweights on floor switches, or stacked as stepping stones.

Survey the entire room before taking your first action. Determine which exit ledge is out of reach and decide which hero is best equipped to reach it after the other two have performed their sacrifices.

Tips and strategy

Experimentation is key to clearing tricky chambers. Keep these practical techniques in mind:

  • Pick your final survivor first: Look at the exit position. If the door sits high up on a sheer wall, the Ranger might need to shoot someone into the wall so the Knight or Mage can climb up. If the exit requires sliding across a wide bed of spikes, the Mage should freeze an ally first.
  • Use corpses as pressure weights: Many gates require a continuous weight on a floor switch. A frozen ice block or a knocked hero remains on the plate permanently, keeping the gate open for your survivor.
  • Restarting is instant: If you accidentally eliminate the wrong hero or misjudge an arrow angle, press the quick restart key to reset the chamber immediately without penalty.
