God Of Light — Play Free Online
Arcade & SkillBend a beam of light through mirrors to wake the Sources of Life in God of Light, a calm physics puzzle you play free in your browser.
God of Light is a slow, luminous puzzle game about bending a single beam of light until it wakes up the world. You never shoot anything, race a clock or fight a boss: each level hands you a dark scene and one glowing source, and your whole job is to steer that light onto the dormant Sources of Life hidden around it.
A session feels like solving a small, beautiful physics riddle. You drag the light and its mirrors around, watch the beam bend and split, and nudge one piece at a time until a bloom of light opens and the level quietly finishes. There is no timer, so a round is as calm or as long as you want to make it.
That makes it the opposite of the twitchy jumping Doodle Jump is built on, which is exactly why it fits here. When you want to stop moving and start thinking, this is the game to switch to.
How to play
The whole game runs on the mouse, or on taps and drags if you are on a phone or tablet. Left-click and drag to move the light source, then grab the mirrors and other light-bending pieces to angle the beam around walls and onto the sleeping life forms. Some pieces split the beam in two, so a single light can feed several targets at once.
A level goes like this: it loads dark, you scan where the Sources of Life sit, you place or rotate a few pieces, and then you trace the light by eye until every target is lit. When the last one lights up, the level completes on its own.
Tips
- Work backwards from the target. Look at where the beam needs to end up, work out the angle the last mirror must hold to send it there, and keep stepping back toward the source.
- Change one piece at a time. Rotating a mirror a few degrees can throw off every other part of the path, so adjust a single object and re-check the beam before touching the next one.
- Do not chase the collectibles on the first pass. Light the main targets first, then see what extra glowing bits sit along the path you have already built.

If you like the thinking side of this one, Fireboy and Watergirl turns the same careful logic into a two-player maze, and Bloons Tower Defense 2 asks you to solve waves with placement instead of light. If you would rather stay in fast arcade territory, Helix Jump is the closest cousin to the bouncing Doodle Jump.
God of Light suits a short, quiet break, a few minutes to breathe and solve a puzzle or two, and it plays just as well with a trackpad as it does with a mouse or a touchscreen.
