Gobattleio is an action and shooting game that runs straight in the browser. You move with the keyboard, aim with the mouse and fight other combatants in short, fast rounds. There is nothing to install, so you can load it, play a few minutes and leave.

The headline game is a one-button climb where you drift upward and dodge; here you are the one who is aiming, so your attention goes to positioning and timing rather than to reading a platform ahead of you. • Keep moving. A target that never stops is much harder to hit than one that stands still to line up a shot.
• Use the first round as a warm-up for the controls and sensitivity rather than trying to win it.
• If aiming feels clumsy on a laptop trackpad, a mouse makes a noticeable difference in a game built around precise aim.
• Fights go badly when you chase them into the middle of a crowd. Pick your engagements.
