Warbrokers.io is a multiplayer first-person shooter that runs in the browser. You drop into a match against other players, pick up a weapon, and try to out-aim whoever you meet on the way. Rounds are about quick decisions: where to hold, when to push, and when to back off and reload.
It looks nothing like the rest of the Doodle Jump catalogue. Most games on this site are one-button jumpers or short arcade runs, while this one is a proper shooter with aiming, positioning and other live players. If you want a break from climbing platforms, this is a very different kind of session. Nothing needs installing, so you can load the page and be in a match within a minute or two.
Move with the arrow keys or WASD and aim with the mouse. The mouse also selects options in menus. On a phone or tablet the game uses touch instead: tap and swipe to control your character and view.
A round starts when you join a match. You move around the map, find opponents and shoot them. Because the other players are live, nobody behaves the same way twice. Expect some matches where you get picked off quickly while you learn the layout, and others where you hold a good position.
Nothing else on the site is a first-person shooter, but a few titles share the quick-restart feel. Bloons Tower Defense 2 is the strategy option, where you plan around waves of balloons instead of aiming at players. Fireboy and Watergirl is a puzzle platformer you can share with a second person. Ovo 2 is a fast, precise platform runner that rewards careful movement.
It suits players who like short competitive sessions with a keyboard and mouse. A phone works in a pinch, though a mouse gives you much better aim.
