Dunkbrush is a draw-the-line physics basketball puzzle: sketch a path to guide the ball into the hoop. Play free in your browser.
Dunkbrush is a physics puzzle dressed up as a basketball game. There is a ball, there is a hoop, and you do not shoot at all. Instead you draw lines that the ball rolls and bounces along, and the goal is to build a path that sends it into the basket. Think of it less as a sports sim and more as a sketch-and-see puzzle where the pencil is your only tool.
Visitors to the Doodle Jump site will recognise the appeal straight away. Both games are built on one simple idea, a single input and a bit of physics, and both reward the player who stops to think about where the next bounce will land. A round is short, a miss costs you a few seconds, and the pull of "just one more try" is strong.
The game runs in the browser with nothing to install, so it works well as a quick break between longer sessions.
On a computer, the game uses the mouse to aim and select, and the arrow keys or WASD for movement where a level asks for it. On a phone or tablet you tap and swipe. The drawing itself is done with the pointer: press, drag a line where you want a ramp, bank or wall, and let go.
Each attempt follows the same rhythm. Look at where the ball starts and where the hoop sits, picture the route in between, draw the line, then watch what the physics does with it. If the ball misses, adjust the angle or length of your line and try again rather than redrawing everything from scratch.
If you like the basketball theme with a different control style, Bouncy Basketball is a more direct, reflex-based take on the sport. For another game where careful thinking about trajectories pays off, try Helix Jump, which is about timing a falling ball through rotating gaps. And for a tougher platforming challenge that rewards precise movement, Ovo 2 is a good next step.
Dunkbrush suits short sessions on either keyboard and mouse or a touchscreen, and it is easy to hand to someone else for a turn since each level is a self-contained puzzle.
You draw lines with the mouse or your finger to build a path that guides the basketball into the hoop. The arrow keys or WASD handle movement where needed, and on a phone you tap and swipe.
Yes. It runs free in your browser on doodlejump.io with no download or account.
It is an HTML5 game, so it runs in a modern browser, and the game supports tap and swipe on touchscreens.
