Crazy Road Trip — Play Free Online

Crazy Road Trip is a racing and driving game from Poki that runs straight in the browser. There is nothing to install: open the page, pick up the controls and you are on the road within a few seconds. It is built for short sessions, so it fits the gaps between longer games.

If you came to Doodle Jump for its one-more-try pull, the appeal here is similar. You steer, you watch what is coming up, and when a run goes wrong you restart and try to do a little better. It is a change of pace from the jumpers and platformers that make up most of this site, with steering and timing in place of vertical climbing.

How to play

On a keyboard, move with the arrow keys or WASD. The mouse is used to aim and to select things in menus. On a phone or tablet you tap and swipe instead, so no keyboard is needed.

Start with the first stage and treat it as a warm-up. Get a feel for how the vehicle responds to your steering before you start pushing for a better result.

Tips

• Learn the steering response on the first stage before taking risks; a calm early run teaches more than a rushed one.
• Look ahead of the vehicle rather than at it, so you have time to react to what appears on the road.
• If you play on a laptop, the fullscreen button under the game gives you a bigger view of the road.
• If the game ever stalls, reload the page and it restarts cleanly.

Similar games on Doodle Jump

For another quick one-more-go game, Helix Jump has you guiding a ball down a tower with a single control. Ovo 2 is a precision platformer where careful movement matters, and Bouncy Basketball is a short physics-based sports game. Doodle Jump itself remains the site's classic if you want a pure score chase.

Crazy Road Trip suits players who want something light: a few minutes at a time, on a keyboard or a touchscreen, with no account and no download.
