Tens! — Play Free Online

Puzzle & Brain

Tens! is a relaxed number puzzle: drag across numbers that add up to 10 and clear the board. Play it free in your browser.

Tens! is a number puzzle built around one simple rule: find groups of numbers that add up to exactly 10 and clear them. There is no timer pressure in the rules themselves and no reflex test, so it sits at the calm end of the catalogue. It comes from Dial-Up Dino Games, and it runs in the browser with nothing to install.

A session is a steady loop of scanning the board, spotting a cluster whose values total ten, and sweeping it away. Early boards let you act on instinct. Later ones reward looking a few moves ahead, because the numbers you take out change which neighbours are left to combine.

Doodle Jump fans usually come here for fast, repeatable rounds. Tens! gives you the opposite pace: a thinking break between jumpers and runners that still has the "one more try" pull.

How to play

Use the mouse to drag across the board and select numbers. When the selected numbers add up to 10, the group is cleared. On a phone, you do the same thing with a finger: touch, drag across the tiles, and let go.

The page's control line also lists the arrow keys or WASD, but selecting with the mouse or your finger is how the puzzle is actually solved. Start with the obvious pairs such as 4 and 6, then look for three or more small numbers that combine into ten.

Tips

  • Check the whole board before the first drag. The first pair you spot is not always the best one to take.
  • Do not spend the large numbers carelessly. A 9 can only be cleared with a 1, so keep track of where the 1s are.
  • Small numbers such as 1s and 2s are the most flexible, so save them for awkward leftovers.
  • If you cannot find a group, look at the edges and corners of the board, where numbers are easiest to strand.
