Two zombie companions, Zoom and Be, team up once again in ZOOM-BE 2 for an escape mission through an obstacle-filled laboratory facility. Designed as a cooperative puzzle-platformer, the game puts two distinct characters on screen who must combine their unique abilities to solve physics puzzles, dodge security guards, and unlock the exit doors on each floor.

Unlike solo platformers where agility alone wins the round, ZOOM-BE 2 requires teamwork and tactical coordination. Zoom is light, quick, and capable of squeezing through narrow corridors and scaling high platforms. In contrast, Be provides brute muscle, easily smashing heavy wooden crates, overpowering barricades, and serving as a sturdy stepping platform to hoist Zoom to out-of-reach ledges.

How to play

You can tackle every stage alongside a friend on a shared keyboard or control both characters simultaneously in solo mode:

• Zoom (Small Zombie): Use the Arrow keys to move left and right, Up Arrow to jump, and Down Arrow to kick or activate floor mechanisms.
• Be (Big Zombie): Use A and D to move left and right, W to jump, and S to smash obstacles and ground pound crates.

Each level challenges you to collect three golden stars and reach the elevator door. Many puzzles require standing on pressure plates to keep gates open, using elevators, pushing buttons, and avoiding patrolling guards or hazardous electrical fields. Both characters must arrive safely at the exit to complete the stage.

Co-op strategy and tips

• Stack for extra height: Have Be stand still under a high ledge so Zoom can jump onto his shoulders and reach buttons or stars that are otherwise inaccessible.
• Clear the path first: Let Be lead into rooms with wooden crates or weak structures to clear debris before Zoom enters hazardous zones.
• Distract and bypass guards: Security personnel and scientists will stop your run on contact. Coordinate your timing so one player lures a guard while the other slips behind to hit a switch.
• Collect stars for unlocks: Grabbing all three stars on each floor unlocks bonus customization hats and accessories in the level selection menu.
