Sea Catcher — Play Free Online
Arcade & SkillSea Catcher is a fishing and raft-building game where you catch debris, fight off crabs and grow a plank into a floating base — free in your browser.
Sea Catcher starts you on a single plank adrift in the middle of the ocean, with nothing but a net and a lot of open water around you. You throw the net at whatever floats past — planks, palm leaves, bags, bottles — and turn each catch into a slightly bigger, slightly better raft. It is a fishing game and a survival builder in one, and the fun comes from the snowball: a wider raft reaches more debris, more debris builds a wider raft, and before long your little plank is a floating platform.
The pace is calm but never idle. While you haul in junk, crabs crawl up from the water and start chewing at the edges of your raft, so you are always balancing two jobs at once — growing outward and patching up what you already have. It rewards the same just-one-more-throw habit as Doodle Jump, but stretched out over a longer, slower climb.
How to play
Click or tap to throw your net, and use WASD or the arrow keys to move around the raft. Aim the cast at drifting debris and reel it in, then switch to build mode to add new planks to your platform and repair the plots the crabs have damaged. Rarer pickups like bags and bottles are worth far more than plain planks, so they are always worth a throw.
Your raft is your life. Crabs walk in from the edges and attack the plots, so you have to hook them and take them out before they bite through too much of your floor. The game keeps your progress in your browser, so you can close the tab and come back to the same raft later.
Tips
- Widen the raft before you chase anything else — every new plot puts more of the passing debris in reach, which speeds up everything after it.
- Watch the borders, not just the water. Crabs spawn at the edges and attack fast, and it is cheaper to stop one early than to repair a whole row afterwards.
- Repair as you go. A damaged plot is one crab bite away from being gone, and replacing it costs more than patching it.

If the slow build-up is what you like, Fireboy and Watergirl turns the same careful progress into two-player platform puzzles, while Helix Jump is the opposite — a fast, single-tap reflex game for short bursts. For another survival-flavoured climb, Day D Tower Rush and Hoppenhelm both stretch a small start into a longer run.
Sea Catcher suits players who want a low-pressure game that keeps its momentum between sessions. It runs straight in the browser with nothing to install, works with a finger or a keyboard, and never punishes you for stepping away.
