Maze — Play Free Online

Puzzle & Brain

Play Maze free in your browser: steer through level after level of walled puzzles with the keyboard, mouse or touch, no download needed.

Maze is a small puzzle game about finding your way through a walled layout. There is no story to follow and no stat sheet to manage: you look at the board, work out where the exit is, and steer there. Rounds are short, so it fits a coffee break as easily as a long evening session.

On Doodle Jump the headline game is a one-button test of reflexes and balance. Maze is the slower cousin. It still rewards paying attention, but the pressure comes from planning a route rather than from dodging something that is falling toward you. If you like to take a breath between jumps, this page is for that mood.

The game runs in the browser with nothing to install, and it loads quickly enough to start a round straight away on a laptop, Chromebook or phone.

How to play

Move with the arrow keys or WASD. The game also supports the mouse for aiming and selecting things on screen, and on a phone or tablet you tap and swipe instead of using a keyboard. The goal is the same on every device: get from where you start to the way out of the maze.

The build is organised into levels, and the game keeps a level counter and a progress display on screen, so you can always see how far through you are. Treat each level as its own small puzzle and move on once the exit is reached.

Tips

  • Before you move, trace the route with your eyes from the exit backwards. A path that looks open at the start often dead-ends, and working back from the goal exposes that sooner.
  • When you hit a dead end, remember which turn you took and rule it out instead of retrying it. Mazes punish wandering far more than they punish slow, careful play.
  • On a touch screen, use short deliberate swipes. Long sweeping ones are easy to overshoot at a junction.
  • If a level has you stuck, step away from the keyboard for a moment and look at the whole board again; the route is usually obvious on a fresh look.

If you want a different kind of puzzle, Fireboy and Watergirl asks you to guide two characters through temples with switches and hazards, and Fireboy and Watergirl 4: Crystal Temple extends the idea. For more action, Helix Jump trades route finding for timing as you drop a ball through a spinning tower, and Bird Jumper keeps the vertical hopping of the headline game with its own twist.

Maze suits short sessions, quiet play and anyone who prefers thinking a path through to reacting under pressure.
