The red queen sits in the middle at the start and offers high-value scoring, but claiming her requires a cover. Once you sink the queen, you must pocket another of your regular carrom men on the very next stroke. Failing to cover returns the queen to the center circle. Scratching by sinking your striker results in a foul penalty, returning one of your potted pieces to the board.
